- Mix It Up: Add the yeast mix and olive oil to the flour. Mix with a spoon or your hands. It'll be a bit messy.
- Knead It: Put the dough on a floured surface. Knead for 5-7 minutes. It should get smooth. Sticky? Add a little flour. Not too much!
- First Rest: Put the dough in an oiled bowl. Cover it. Let it sit in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours. It should double in size.
- Punch It: Gently punch the dough to get the air out.
- Make Balls: Cut the dough in half. Or make smaller balls for personal pizzas.
- Second Rest (Optional): Cover the balls and let them sit for 15-30 minutes. This makes them extra chewy.
- Heat It Up: Put a pizza stone or baking sheet in your oven. Preheat to 450°F (232°C).
- Shape It: Use your hands or a rolling pin to make a circle or oval. About 12 inches. Thin or thick, your choice!
- Toppings Time: Put the crust on a pizza peel or baking sheet. Add sauce, then cheese, then your favorite toppings.
- Bake It: Slide the pizza onto the hot stone or sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. The crust should be golden, the cheese bubbly.
- Eat It: Let it cool for a minute. Then slice and enjoy!
