Ready to build some good habits? It takes time, so be patient and stick with it. Think of it as an investment in you.
What habit do You want? Don't just say "I want to be healthy." Be specific! "I want to walk for 30 minutes every day." The clearer the goal, the better.
And be realistic! Don't try to change everything at once. Start with one or two habits. Focus on those first. Trying to do too much? It’s a recipe for feeling overwhelmed.
What will remind you to do your habit? Make it obvious!
Try this: "I will [your habit] at [time/place/event]." For example, "I will stretch for 5 minutes when I get out of bed."
Seriously, start tiny. The "two-minute rule" is your friend.
Want to read more? Read just one page a day. Want to exercise? Do two push-ups. Yes, just two! The point is to make it so easy you can't say no. Just like dipping your toes into a pool before diving.
